Art IV Project #8 Process (Part 1)

This project is a continuation of my comic that I worked on for my second home project. I had sketches already made, so I didn't have to go through the struggles of writing and formatting from scratch. However, not everything from the sketch remained the same, as I made decisions for alterations for legibility or composition reasons. I also made the old sketches before I redesigned the characters, so I had to readjust their details. To make these changes clear for myself, I drew another updated sketch on top of the old one. I am satisfied with this decision because I believe it made the lineart process easier.

I debated whether or not I should include Korean in my comic, and decided that I should, because it is part of who I am and doesn't interfere much with the actual comic's storytelling. I've also seen other translated webtoons translate just the dialogue or diegetic text and leave other text, such as onomatopoeia, which may be harder to translate, in Korean(or whatever respective language). Despite being 3 total pages like my second home project, I realized that there are more panels and details I wanted to work on, so I refrained from doing shading, instead prioritizing lining and coloring all of the pages first.
